Chavez says Interpol report wrong

Says computers found in Ecuador are not Venezuelan

Hugo Chavez said an Interpol report that computers found in Ecuador by the Colombian military belonged to leftist rebels was just "a clown show" hosted by Interpol's secretary general, Ronald Noble.

Hugo Chavez said an Interpol report that computers found in Ecuador by the Colombian military belonged to leftist rebels was just a clown show hosted by Interpol's secretary general, Ronald Noble.

Venezuelan President Chavez called Interpol's secretary general, Ronald Noble, a "gringo" policeman and "a tremendous actor."

Chavez said Noble had tried to "give the clown show the character of scientific seriousness."

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has said the computers contain evidence that Chavez supported the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.

Chavez accused him of having "no shame."
