Ogilvy and Woods go for win at ChampionshipTiger Woods is sitting on back after Geoff Ogilvy's 5-under-par 67 Friday gave him the lead over Woods in Miami.
Woods (66) is 11-under 133 after ending with a 24-foot birdie putt at the 18th hole. MIAMI (UPI) -- Geoff Ogilvy's 5-under-par 67 Friday gave him a one-stroke lead over Tiger Woods through 36 holes at the World Golf Championships-CA Championship in Miami. Ogilvy's total after two bogey-free rounds is 12-under 132. It is the second time in his career that Ogilvy had held the lead after two rounds in a PGA Tour event. "That was about the right score today," Ogilvy said. "I played a lot better yesterday than I did today but I made a lot of putts and got up and down when I needed to. I was always in play and I made some good putts." Woods (66) is 11-under 133 after ending with a 24-foot birdie putt at the 18th hole. Ogilvy's fellow Australian Adam Scott (68) fell three shots back after ending the day with bogeys at 17 and 18 for a total of 9-under 135. Robert Karlsson (70), Jeev Milkha Singh (70) and Anders Hansen (71) share fourth place at 6-under 138. Recommend this page to a friend© Copyright United Press International. All Rights Reserved.
