An Alaska Airlines jet has been isolated on the tarmac at Seattle-Tacoma Airport because of what officials are calling an unclaimed object on board.

Airline spokeswoman Caroline Boren said flight 383 from San Jose landed about 11:35 a.m. and was being checked out by Port of Seattle police and the FBI. She would not elaborate on the object that aroused concern on the plane.

The flight crew discovered an object that nobody on board claimed, officials said.

The Boeing 737 was moved off the runway after it landed and the passengers were evacuated.
