East Peoria, IL, - FOX broadcaster and former NFL player Bill Maas was arrested Friday night after police found a handgun, suspected cocaine, Ecstasy and marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police found a .22-caliber revolver, 5 grams of suspected marijuana, 6 grams of suspected cocaine and 28 pills of Ecstasy. Maas and Murphy were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Maas was also booked on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon.

During the stop, police said Maas seemed nervous, then consented to a vehicle search.

The Pennsylvania native is a former defensive tackle and played for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1984 to 1992 and the Green Bay Packers in 1993.
