Casino Royale actor Daniel Craig has signed a $26-million deal to star in two more James Bond films.

Under the deal, the 39-year-old actor has committed to returning as 007 in a further two movies in the super spy franchise.

Craig will receive $10.2 million for his second appearance and $16.4 million for a third one. These sums are twice over the amount what he originally negotiated with Eon Productions, it said.

The 21st official Bond film, "Casino Royale" became the highest grossing James Bond film to date, earning $600 million at the box office. It was listed as the 6th highest grossing film of all time in the U.K.

Despite his huge 007 success Craig recently voiced his desire not to be typecast saying: "I don't want to make just spy films."
