Kenai River Classic

By Spencer DeVito - Enough is enough! If "outsiders" have any hopes of continuing to decide the Kenai River's destiny, then first they should find another name for this preposterously, outrageous episode.

Secondly, they should probably call it Kenai River "Disgrace" or Mockery, or Farce, Travesty or Circus.

If none of these descriptors apply might I suggest "Embarrassment"! Many of us recognize that Gov. Palin has taken on a huge responsibility and her accomplishments so far have been quite significant. If she can burst this "Classic" bubble, then and only then will most true Alaskan's call her Conqueror or the people's Champion!

The Kenai River Classic must NOT proliferate any longer! It appears as though many local residents have had about enough as exemplified by the efforts of Kenai Area Fisherman's Coalition. Keep up the good work fishermen, the Coalition needs your help!
