AlaskaReport Writer Stephen Taufen Passed Away

Longtime contributor to AlaskaReport, Stephen Taufen, died on September 13th, 2017. According to Ray Metcalfe, Steve was in intensive care for a few days at Providence Hospital in Anchorage with an inoperable hematoma before he passed. Steve was the Founder of the Groundswell Fisheries Movement and a very good friend to the fishermen of Alaska. You will be missed by many Stephen.
