Christian Brando dies of pneumonia in LA

Christian Brando has died from pneumonia at a Los Angeles hospital. He was 49.

The troubled oldest son of actor Marlon Brando died early Saturday at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Brando had been in the hospital in the ICU since January 11th for pneumonia.

A family spokesman said, "This is a sad and difficult time for the family."

Christian Brando was mostly known for going to prison for voluntary manslaughter in the death of his half-sister's boyfriend, Dag Drollet in a well-publized fight.
