Juliana Redding found dead in LA

Juliana Redding, an aspiring model from Arizona, was found dead inside her Santa Monica apartment on Sunday morning.

Cops are investigating the death of the 21-year-old model/stripper whose body was found at about 6:10 p.m. by officers from the Santa Monica Police Department.

Police spokesman Lt. Alex Padilla, officers were sent to her apartment Sunday after Redding's mother called from Tucson, Arizona and told them she had been unable to reach her daughter by phone.

The police found Redding dead inside her apartment. Police did not know how long she had been dead, but it appeared she had been killed from an "assault," Padilla said Monday.

After moving to the area, Redding appeared in a small movie called Kathy T Gives Good Hoover where she met her ex-boyfriend, Greg Cipes, an actor who has appeared in various primetime TV shows.

Cipes told KNBC that when they broke up, she "seemed unhappy" and said that she would call him every so often saying that "she was lonely and scared being in her apartment." Redding began to work at a strip club when they began to drift apart.

Police are treating her death as a homicide.
