Hundreds of anti-war protesters were shouting Arrest George Bush at various places around Washington D.C. on Tuesday including near the White House and government buildings.

The demonstrators were protesting the U.S. presence in Iraq on the war's five-year anniversary.

A few of those wearing masks were also dressed in striped jail uniforms. The group staked out space outside the National Archives, where they laid a large cloth on the ground, forcing people to walk over it to enter the building. On the cloth was written the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, which begins, "We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union ..." Many of the anti-war activists signed it.
