Candidate for Alaska Governor, Bob Poe on Sarah Palin's resignation

From a Bob Poe press release:

Candidate for Governor, Bob Poe reacted today at the announcement by Sarah Palin of her intention to resign as Alaska's Governor.

"Right now Alaska needs an experienced leader fully focused on the state, with the vision, ideas and long-term commitment to realize Alaska's potential," said Poe. "Palin has been out of state and out of touch."

Poe continued, "As I stated when I announced my candidacy, Alaska needs a Governor who is fully committed our state, not on other jobs and I am pleased Sarah Palin recognized this and is doing the right thing for Alaska ."

"I have one aspiration - to be Alaska's governor."
