The indictment says that Wade committed the offenses in an "especially heinous, cruel and depraved manner, in that it involved torture and serious physical abuse to Mindy Schloss."

Wade's eight-count indictment comes as he's awaiting trial in Seattle on six other felonies, including the theft of Schloss' ATM bank card and felonious possession of a firearm.

Mindy Schloss was a psychiatric nurse who lived next door to Wade on Terrace Drive in Anchorage at the time of her disappearance. She went missing on August 3, 2007. Her body was found September 13 off Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla.

Wade will be arraigned on the new charges early next week.
