Palin: Voters Need Answers On Don Young Legal Fees

Eight Months Later, Investigated Congressman Still Silent

The clock just keeps ticking. It's been eight months since Governor Sarah Palin called on Congressman Don Young to explain to Alaskans why he spent more than $1,300,000 of campaign contributions on legal fees.

"With just two weeks left until the election, doesn't Don Young think that Alaskans have a right to know? Why won't Young explain to the people of Alaska why he spent so much of their money on lawyers," asked Kay Brown, spokeswoman for the Alaska Democratic Party.

"Sarah Palin is just one of the thousands of Alaskans who want the truth. It's time for Young to come clean about why he is being investigated for corruption."

Governor Palin: "I think residents of Alaska, voters who have elected him in the past, they are not only curious, but they are deserving of answers as to where campaign contributions are being spent..."
