Vivica Fox to star in fashion reality show

Vivica A. Fox will get her own fashion reality show on VH1 this summer.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- U.S. actress and producer Vivica A. Fox has signed on to preside over a new competition series designed to find the next great celebrity stylist, VH1 announced.

"Glam God with Vivica A. Fox" is to premiere this summer.

Each week, contestants will compete in various challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create "the perfect look from head to toe," the network said.

The winner will get $100,000, as well as the chance to style an A-list celebrity.

"Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time," VH1's Jeff Olde said in a statement. "Her instincts are impeccable and she knows how critical it is to have a 'glam god' she can trust to create a star-making killer look. We are thrilled that we have her vision and insights to drive this show."
