Beverly Hills, California - Beverly Hills police arrested actress Lindsay Lohan on Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol, a police spokesman said.

Lohan, 20, lost control of her 2005 Mercedes Benz convertible and struck a curb early Saturday morning, Lt. Mitch McCann told reporters.

She received treatment for minor injuries at Century City Doctors hospital, where police cited and arrested her. Because of her injuries, police released Lohan on the misdemeanor charge, McCann said.

McCann also said police found "additional contraband" in Lohan's car, which has been preliminarily identified as a "useable" amount of cocaine.
