Kirstie Alley Shows Off Bikini Body

Chicago, IL - Kirstie Alley has stripped off her clothes to show off her weight loss.

The 55-year-old actress revealed her new body in a bikini for the first time on Monday during her appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Two years ago the star weighed 320 pounds but she has shed 125 pounds in a year and become the spokeswoman for diet group Jenny Craig.

Almost a year ago, Alley promised Oprah that she would show off her body on the show, when she slimmed down to a bikini size.

On the show, Kirstie dropped her wrap and showed the world her new "hot" body. The crowd went wild and Oprah was clearly proud of the Jenny Craig spokeswoman. Alley said she decided to diet because of hurtful comments in the media.

She told Oprah: "Honestly, I didn't know how fat I was. Thanks to the tabloids I went, 'Damn, girl, you're fat!'"

After losing 25 pounds, Kirstie burned her "fat pants" on the show.

During her third appearance on The Oprah Show, Kirstie said: "Maybe before summer I'll do a Jenny Craig bikini commercial," and promised to do it on the Oprah Show.

Oprah told her: "You look beautiful."

The Fat Actress star told Oprah that when she was 30 years old, she never would have worn a bikini in front of millions of people.

She said: "I was so introverted about my body. "When I looked back on my movies and things [I thought], 'Wow, you had a really nice body.' But, at the time, I was [feeling] not good enough."

At 55, Kirstie said she now feels comfortable in her own skin. "I don't think women ever feel like we're good enough.

"We don't feel like we're thin enough or pretty enough or smart enough or work hard enough.

"We all are good enough and we look good enough and we are not our bodies, you know?"
