Peter Boyle 'Frank Barone' dies at 71

New York, NY - Peter Boyle, who played the curmudgeonly father in the long-running sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died at 71.

His publicist said the veteran actor died Tuesday evening in New York after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease.

He bacame famous as the tap-dancing monster in "Young Frankenstein".

Boyle won an Emmy award in 1996 for a Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for a guest appearance on The X-Files.
